ON OCTOBER 18TH & 19TH, 2018 WORLD-CHANGING THINKERS CAME TOGETHER TO DISCUSS THE GLOBAL IMPACT OF CLIMATE POLICY CHOICES.

Held on October 18 and 19 in New Castle, NH, The Portsmouth Conference brought together internationally known thinkers to discuss — as well as how to improve — current climate policies.
While the media often covers the subject of climate change, less attention is spent on the policies that seek to address it. Such policies often yield unintended consequences, which served as the basis behind the conference, hosted by nonprofit Citizens Count.
Attended by more than 200 people, the conference was created as a forum for leading thinkers to meaningfully discuss climate policies, their consequences and possible solutions.

The Portsmouth Conference offered 30+ graduate student scholarships and was attended by students from Columbia University, University of Vermont, University of New Hampshire, MIT, and others. Conference organizers welcomed the input of these students, believing that the future will be guided by the next generation of leaders and found their input invaluable at the 2018 Conference.
